Everything and the Moon (Lyndon Family Saga Series #1)

Everything and the Moon - Julia Quinn Man but this was a good book. I thought it was so well written that I immediately went back and read through all of my favorite parts of the book after I finished it. The whole misunderstanding in this book surprised me with how much I liked it since misunderstandings, especially ones as big as the one in this one don’t usually do it for me but I shouldn’t have doubted JQ’s ability to make me fall in love with this story and these characters. This is the Julia Quinn that I love to read. She writes the kind of historicals that make you laugh, cry and sigh all over the dang book. She’s got a certain style that is uniquely her and I can’t get enough of her books. It was love at first sight for Robert Kemble. He fell for Victoria Lyndon when he came across her on the grounds near her house and he never looked back. Every day that he courted her, he grew more and more in love with as she did with him and whenever they were around each other, they had stars in their eyes. Victoria loved Robert desperately and knew that in her heart of hearts, they would eventually marry and he would be the father of her children. Robert’s intentions for Victoria were clear from the jump but when things don’t end up the way that they planned, their world as they knew it fell apart and changed their lives drastically.Assumptions are made, feelings were hurt and a great big mess was had. Robert flew to London with his broken heart and Victoria nursed her own broken heart through hard work and a dreadful life. A life she didn’t want but the life that she needed to survive.Robert and Victoria meet up again, seven years later and they’re totally different and they’re both furious with the other. Robert wants revenge but Victoria just wants to be left in peace. Watching these two fall in love with each other all over again was hard to get through in some places but not because it was boring but because my heart hurt for the both of these guys. They went through so much to be with each other and when they finally get their happy ending at the end of the book, my heart sighed. All was righted in my world. This book pulled at my heart strings and JQ did a phenomenal job of sucking me into this story. Sucking me into Robert and Victoria’s lives. I thought this book was fantastic and reading this book has made me want to read more JQ books.Such a good story.
